What is the only album on which a murderer and his victim both played?
This one:
De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas - Mayhem
One of the defining "Black Metal" albums, and probably one of the most infamous. De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas had Varg (Count Grishnackt) Vikernes playing bass, and Øystein "Euronymous" Aarseth on lead guitar.
For those who don't know, Vikernes stabbed Aarseth to death in 1993. |
Ooh, I've read about this. Really quite eerie. Not sure I'd want to hear the actual album, I'm not big on black metal. Is it any good?
As a black metal album it's great. But remember, it's black metal. If it isn't the type of genre for you, you probably won't like it.
